The Petzl Sum'Tec is a light, minimalist modular ice axe for technical mountaineering home or abroad.
The SUM'TEC represents versatility, adapting easily to any mountaineering activity, from classic through to technical. Completely modular, the Sum'Tec allows optimisation for the objective. The TRIGREST handrest can be quickly adjusted without tools, while the compatibility of the ice axe with most of Petzl's ice tool accessories (PUR'ICE and DRY picks, MASSELOTTES etc.) ensure ultimate adaptability, modification or repair.
